The community center which is located in downtown Chicago is designed for young theater actresses. Inspired by image that light is going through water/rain drops, which generates a shiny and fancy perception. Design goals for this community center are fancy and modern. The whole space achieves asymmetrical balance between stage and seats. Stage having larger size with light color is balanced by seats having smaller size with attractive purple  color . In addition, successive curved ceiling reaches transition rhythm. As for emphasize, purple round chair on one side of  window is the focal point of whole space by using color contrast between light background and  circle shapes used frequently in this design to achieve a water and rainy drops theme. Dining bar, however, with rectangle shape and gold shiny color adds more variety for design.
